1. In a fire, when the local temperature rises, the valve will automatically close to prevent the entry of dangerous gases. The advantage of this special design is that it can check the operation of the valve and then reset it to a safe state. The fire damper is used in semiconductor manufacturing and uses toxic gases in the diffusion process. Fire check valves can also be used in chemical and petroleum plants.
