(1) Shape memory
After a certain heat treatment, the shape of Ni Ti alloy shape memory alloy will be restored automatically. This change is the shape memory characteristics of Ni Ti alloy shape memory alloy. Shape memory can be divided into one-way shape memory, two-way shape memory and whole process shape memory.
(2) Hyperelasticity
The shape memory alloy of NiTi alloy will deform when it is subjected to external force, and it will return to its original state after removing the external force, which is the hyperelastic characteristic of shape memory alloy of NiTi alloy. After superelastic deformation, the shape memory alloy of NiTi alloy will directly lead to martensitic transformation, and the removal of external forces will lead to reverse martensitic transformation.
(3) Damping
Ni Ti shape memory alloy has very good damping property because of the self adjustment of phase transformation and the interface and movement during phase transformation.
(4) Electrical resistance
In the process of deformation, the relationship between resistance and strain is linear. When the transformation occurs, the slope of the curve will decrease, but the linear relationship will be maintained before and after the martensite phase.
